Members of the Partnership's North East Locality Forum took part in a demonstration of the Your Support Your Way Glasgow Website on Thursday 15 February.

On 18 January 2018 the 'Big Grant Giveaway' was hosted at the Tramway Theatre. 12 projects from across South Glasgow presented their youth-led ideas to an audience of 200 local young people with the hope of securing up to £3000, to see their ideas become a reality.

An innovative Photovoice exhibition from North West Recovery Communities (NWRC) took place in the Buchanan Galleries during the last week of January.  The event was held in the “Good” a store managed by the Kibble children’s charity.  

North East Locality Staff supported the Jo's Trust #SmearForSmear Campaign during Cervical Cancer Awareness Week which ran from Monday 22- Sunday 28 January.

16 Days of Action to End Violence Against Women is coordinated in Glasgow by Community Safety Glasgow Violence Against Women Team on behalf of the Glasgow Violence Against Women Partnership (GVAWP).

Partnership staff Rachel Bruce, lead pharmacist, and Chrissie Stuart, a practice nurse, won the Chairman’s Improving Health Category Gold Award for the More than Medicine project based at Crail GP practice, North East Locality.

On 19 May 2017, Glasgow Kelvin College became the first college in Scotland to be awarded White Ribbon status.
