Staff from Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership’s (HSCP) Health Improvement Team have been working with Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust to co-produce cervical cancer screening awareness videos to encourage women with learning disabilities to be tested.

Knightswood Connects at Cool Jazz Afternoon

Knightswood Connects Community Project held a small summer gathering for residents over the age of 50. The afternoon event took place in an outside space at Knightswood Community Centre on 29 July.
 
The weather was surprisingly dry and the marquees ensured that no one got sunburned. The forty seniors that attended enjoyed an afternoon of cold drinks, food and cool jazz from the very talented Mic Clark and Olivia Ennemosser from the group Acoustic Butterfly. The music was the perfect tonic and created a wonderful relaxed atmosphere for people to enjoy.
