Call for nominations for the 2026 SAFE Awards now open!

As the year draws to a close, we’re celebrating the remarkable contributions across our Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) and inviting nominations for the 2026 Staff Awards for Excellence (SAFE Awards).

Has someone in our workforce made a real difference? Gone the extra mile to support patients, service users or colleagues? Delivered outstanding service under pressure? Introduced an innovative idea that improved the way we work? If so, now is the time to recognise and reward their efforts.

The SAFE Awards are our opportunity to celebrate the dedication, creativity and resilience of individuals, teams, project groups and volunteers who make a positive impact every day.

All Glasgow City HSCP staff and teams, both Health and Social Work, are eligible to be nominated, and they can be providing either a frontline service or back office support service. Nominations should also have been delivering on their work or project over the past year (they should not be at the ideas stage).

Nominations are sought for the following categories:

•    Team of the Year
•    Employee of the Year
•    Leader of the Year
•    Innovation of the Year
•    Volunteer of the Year

Volunteers outside our HSCP organisation can also be nominated for the Volunteer of the Year award.

The closing date for nominations is 5pm on Monday, 12 January 2026.
