Working together to tackle alcohol and drug issues

Published: | Drugs

Glasgow City Alcohol and Drug Partnership (ADP) is a multi-agency group tasked by the Scottish Government with tackling alcohol and drug issues through partnership working. Organisational membership includes Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services, Glasgow Community Planning Partnership, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC), Public Health, Police Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue, Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability and voluntary sector alcohol and drug agencies.

Glasgow City ADP is sharing a series of ‘Day in the Life’ blogs to showcase the variety of work taking place in Glasgow. By documenting a typical day in roles across both Glasgow’s statutory services and partner organisations throughout the city, from harm reduction to treatment and care and recovery services, we’re hoping to capture the incredible work of staff across the partnership and demonstrate the wide array of services within the city.
