Care Homes Share Learning About Red Bag Scheme
Staff from care homes across Glasgow came together in April to share their experience of participating in the Red Bag Scheme. The event, held in Glasgow City Chambers, also featured inputs on how care homes can support a reduction in medicines waste and how having Anticipatory Care Plans can lead to positive outcomes for care home residents.

BeST? Trial
The BeST? trial is a research trial owned by Glasgow University which has been running in Glasgow since 2011. The trial has now been increased to include involvement from four London boroughs and Renfrewshire HSCP. The trial purpose is to evaluate whether an infant mental health service offers improved outcomes for Looked After and Accommodated Children when compared to the mainstream social work services in each of the areas.
New Woodside Health and Care Centre opens on 1 July 2019
The new Woodside Health and Care Centre will open to patients, service users and visitors on Monday 1 July 2019.The new Centre will offer state of the art, modern facilities accommodating integrated health and social care services improving access and the co-ordination of care.
The interior design of the building is open and bright as there is a growing awareness that a welcoming and therapeutic environment delivers benefits which can impact on health and wellbeing.
