Parkhead Hub strengthens its place at heart of community with second network event

The Parkhead Hub further cemented its role at the centre of community life in the east end of Glasgow on 21 May, as hundreds of people came together for its second Community Network Day.

Building on a successful first year at the Hub, the event brought together local people, services and organisations for a day of activity, advice and connection – highlighting the growing impact of the building as a focal point for health, wellbeing and community support.

Item No 15 - Gambling Levy Funding - The Glasgow Project

This report provides an update on the successful award 
from UK Gambling Levy funding to implement a 
whole-system public health approach to reducing gambling 
harms in Glasgow. The report seeks to note the funding 
award to Glasgow City Council on behalf of community 
planning partners and approve the proposed delivery 
arrangements managed through the Integration Authority 
for this collaborative partnership.
