From 8 to 14 September, Scotland stood together during Suicide Prevention Week to raise awareness and shine a light on suicide and what we can do to keep each other safe.

Art in the Gart Exhibition ‘The Hidden Revealed’ part of SMHAF 2024
Gartnavel Royal Hospital’s ‘Art in the Gart’ and Project Ability are proud to present the exhibition ‘The Hidden Revealed’ as part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival (SMHAF) 2024.
The free exhibition is on show now at the Art in the Gart Gallery, Ground Floor, The Hub, Gartnavel Royal Hospital until September 2025.

Glasgow celebrates its care experienced young people at Open Day 2024
Care Experienced Week 2024 runs from 19 to 26 October, and this national campaign signifies an annual opportunity to celebrate the Care Experienced community, championing their accomplishments and amplifying their voices.
One way that our Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) participates in the week each year is with our Open Day Care Leavers Celebration – an event that celebrates Glasgow’s care experienced individuals and highlights their achievements throughout the year.

Parkhead Hub Update - October 2024
The new state of the art Parkhead Hub will be opening to the public soon.
The new Hub will integrate health, social care and community facilities, including a cafe and the relocated Parkhead Library. There will be three GP practices (Forge Medical Practice, Drs McKenzie and Burns and Meadowpark Surgery), a community pharmacy, dental services and the Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) Learning Centre (a citywide resource).
