Technology Enabled Care and Support for People with a Learning Disability - March 2021 Update
This communication provides an update on Glasgow City HSCP’s work to explore the potential for technology enabled care and support (TECS), to have an extended role in meeting the assessed needs of people with a learning disability.
Cost of the Nursery Day Project
The Cost of the Nursery Day project was a collaboration between Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership and Glasgow City Council Early Learning and Childcare to identify poverty-related barriers to learning and participation in nurseries, and to develop practical ways to overcome them. The project was delivered in 2019 and complements Child Poverty Action Group's Cost of the School Day project.

Susanne Praises HSCP Staff as She’s Confirmed as Chief Officer
Susanne Millar has been appointed as Chief Officer of Glasgow City’s Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP) after leading the organisation through its toughest ever year.
And one of her first acts after the Integration Joint Board confirmed her appointment to the role, which she has held on an interim basis since May 2019, was to praise the “truly exceptional” performance of HSCP staff throughout the pandemic.

Hundreds of Homeless People Receive Covid-19 Vaccinations
Hundreds of vulnerable homeless people are receiving their first Covid-19 vaccinations in Glasgow as teams of nurses visit temporary accommodation and support services to provide injections.
Glasgow City Health & Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is co-ordinating the huge logistical operation in a bid to reach people whose transient and often chaotic lifestyles would have hindered attendance at vaccination centres.
