The staff at these care homes recognise the profound importance of meaningful connections in the lives of the residents – connections that span family, friends, staff and the broader community.

The COVID-19 pandemic brought with it a host of restrictions, profoundly impacting the ability of individuals in residential care to engage with their communities and receive visits from loved ones.

Congratulations to Morrisons Anniesland for being awarded Breastfeeding Friendly Scotland accreditation in Glasgow.

Breastfeeding is important to the health of both mother and baby. While many new mums start breastfeeding, some stop within a few weeks or months. This is often because they feel there’s a lack of support, particularly when they want to feed their baby outside their home.

In line with the Partnership’s performance management arrangements, performance reports are produced on a quarterly basis. These reports are then scrutinised by citywide and locality management teams. The Integration Joint Board’s Finance, Audit and Scrutiny Committee also receives a quarterly performance report and, at each meeting, they focus on specific service areas with service leads. First ever outdoor art installation kicks off summer of greenspace development at Stobhill Mental Health Campus

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) has installed the first ever piece of outdoor art at Stobhill Hospital’s Mental Health Campus in Glasgow, signalling a summer of work to improve the hospital’s greenspaces and outdoor facilities.

The Willow Arch has been designed and built by willow artist and sculptor Geoff Forest, and it will be surrounded by flowers and plants to bring structure, colour and scent year-round.
