New Healthy Minds Resource Now Available
The NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) Mental Health Improvement Team hosted by Glasgow City Health and Care Partnership have developed an awareness raising resource called “Healthy Minds” to support implementation of the NHSGGC Mental Health Improvement Frameworks. The resource aims to promote a universal basic awareness and understanding of mental health and topics that are associated with and can impact on mental health and wellbeing.
Pollok Civic Realm Achieve LGBT Charter Mark Status
Pollok Civic Realm have been awarded the bronze level LGBT Charter Mark from LGBT Youth Scotland.
The award is the culmination of 18 months work from various NHS partners, agencies and organisations within Pollok Civic Realm. This charter continues to build on ensuring equality and diversity sit at the heart of all that we do.
New Glasgow Alcohol and Drugs Advocacy Service
We all need an advocate at some times in our lives. It helps to have someone around to make a difficult phone call, someone who can help write a letter or someone to go with you to a difficult meeting.
A new advocacy service to help people in Glasgow having problems related to alcohol and drugs was launched on Tues 26 March. The Glasgow City Alcohol and Drug Partnership (ADP) fully supported the successful application by The Advocacy Project to the Scottish Government National Development Fund.
Item No 7 - Multi Agency City Centre Hub Pilot Proposal
To propose a pilot service focussed on homeless adults with multiple and complex needs in line with the Health and Social Care Partnership’s transformational change programme.
Item No 8 - Continuing and Complex Care
To update the Integration Joint Board on the joint work with Acute and other NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health and Social Care Partnerships to manage the transition from Continuing Care.
Item No 10 - Proof of Concept Update
To update the Integration Joint Board on the progress made for the review and reform of social care contracts in the context of implementation and delivery of the new National Minimum Wage 2020.
