Glasgow Hub Offers Help During Covid-19 Crisis
A new Glasgow hub has been created to help people struggling amid the Coronavirus crisis - linking them to organisations and volunteers who are keen to help.
Glasgow City Council and Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership have teamed up with Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector (GCVS) and Volunteer Glasgow to create Glasgow Helps - a hub which people can contact for help or to volunteer their services.

Huge congratulations to Catherine Craigie who celebrated her 100th birthday in style on Wed 15th April, despite the Coronavirus lockdown.
Staff at Glasgow’s Hawthorn House Care Home in Possilpark which is run by Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership, arranged a special celebration for the great grandmother who has lived at the home since May 2018.
Social Work Students and Retired Care Workers Answer the City's Call to Action
More than 100 students and retired care workers have pledged to do their bit to ease the pressure on the city's social care services following an appeal from Glasgow City Council and the city's Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP).
To date 97 students, currently completing their four-year Social Work degree or postgraduate degree at university, have expressed an interest in assisting delivering homecare services and working in one of five elderly residential homes around the city.
Sky's the Limit for Former Homeless Man Michael
New dad, Michael Wright, plans to jump out of a plane at 10,000ft to thank Glasgow's Housing First scheme for helping him rebuild his life after homelessness.
In August, Michael is due to take part in a sponsored skydive to raise money for the Salvation Army which provides support to homeless people on behalf of Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP).

Item No.8 - Membership of the Integration Joint Board
The membership of the Integration Joint Board is determined by Order made under the Public Bodies (Joint Working)(Scotland) Act 2014. The Council and Health Board nominate the voting members of the Joint Board. There are certain appointments made by the Joint Board where the Board needs to determine the term of office of appointees and the persons to be appointed. There is also discretion on the Board to appoint some additional members. This paper identifies the appointment made and the appointments to be confirmed by the IJB.
