Welcome to our new health and wellbeing web page for all NHS and Council staff working within Glasgow City HSCP. Staff health and wellbeing is important to us and we are committed to supporting staff to maintain and improve this.
On this web page you will find information about health and wellbeing. There are links below that will hopefully make it easier for you to connect with national and local online resources.

HSCP Staff Health & Wellbeing Group
Our HSCP has its own Staff Health and Wellbeing Group, which works collaboratively to promote key priorities of our staff health strategy and reach out to staff to support local health and wellbeing initiatives that matter to them most. The group meets regularly and its membership has representatives across the HSCP including Health Improvement, Psychology Service, Prison Health Care, Human Resources, Organisational Development, Business Development, Staff Trade Unions and NHS Staff Side.

Health and Social Care Staff can access free online exercise classes via NHSGGC Active Staff.
Menopause Online Coffee Mornings
We are running in partnership with Lifelink an online informal drop in coffee catch up for staff on the last Friday of alternate months, to discuss anything menopause related with peers, what has worked, what is challenging for you and give you the opportunity to share advice. This will be a safe and confidential space to support staff.
These will be delivered by Lifelink via MS Teams – please choose the date you wish to attend, save the date in your diary along with the MS Teams link/details to join.

Occupational Health Psychological Therapies Service (OHPTS) | This OHPTS service is available to staff who wish to access psychological support. To access call 0141 277 7623, Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm Please note this service will not be able to provide an immediate response. If you need immediate support with your mental health please contact a trusted member of your community such as your GP, or NHS 24 on ‘111’ or if you are in imminent danger please dial ‘999’. |
A check list for staff designed to help them with the change from working in an office to working at home. Exercises to help staff who are sitting for long periods and may feel stiffness in their muscles and joints when moving again. The exercises are chair based, make no sound and can be done in five minutes. |
