Project Search is a work experience programme that supports young people with learning disabilities and/or autism to get and keep a fulltime job. It started in Cincinnati Children’s Hospital (United States) in 1996 and is now delivered in over 500 sites worldwide, including two in Glasgow.

Youthbank South Glasgow recently hosted an awards night at the GoGlasgow Urban Hotel in Ibrox to celebrate the achievements of young people from the Youthbank Panel and the wider community.  

A new day care centre for older people in North East Glasgow was officially opened in February 2017. Wallacewell Day Care Centre in Balornock has been built as part of an overall £100m Glasgow City Council project to transform residential and day care services for the city's older people.
