Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership’s Health Improvement Teams have recently released their 2018 / 19 Annual Report.

The Partnership’s Local Area Coordination Team has been promoting Chatter ‘n’ Natter as part of the wider campaign to end loneliness across Glasgow.

Partnership staff had their achievements recognised at the Glasgow City HSCP Staff Awards for Excellence 2019 on 19 September. The Awards celebrate individual staff, teams and projects who have ‘gone the extra mile’ in their work in a number of categories.

April is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month. Bowel cancer is Scotland’s third most common cancer but it is treatable and curable especially if diagnosed early. Nearly everyone diagnosed at the earliest stage will survive bowel cancer but this drops significantly as the disease develops.
