Glasgow has been shortlisted for an award in a top international competition.

A new short film launched by the Gender Friendly Nursery programme aims to promote awareness of the impact of gender stereotypes on what children believe they can and can’t do, how they should dress and behave, and what society expects of them.

Staff and service users at the Glasgow City HSCP Chara Centre in Possilpark have been using the good weather during lockdown to maintain the centre’s garden.  The social work centre provides emergency homeless accommodation for 27 females from all walks of life and cultures.

We are celebrating Carers Week from the 8 to 14 June 2020.  This week is dedicated to people across the country who provide support to friends, family and neighbours who couldn’t manage otherwise.

Anthony Leebody, Senior Finance Officer in Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership, reached out to his neighbours at the start of lockdown. He set up a neighbourhood chat group to bring people together and help identify those who needed extra support.
