Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is delighted to be a key partner in the newly launched Glasgow City Food Plan (GCFP). The 10-year plan is collaborative, holistic and establishes meaningful work to make the food system in Glasgow more sustainable, equitable and healthy.

Many people are struggling to access food through absolutely no fault of their own, and this has increased during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic. 

This year’s Volunteers’ Week is from 1 to 7 June, and is a time to say thanks and recognise the fantastic contribution made by volunteers across Glasgow City Health and Social Care (HSCP) services.

Glasgow has five COVID-19 mass vaccination centres which are all wheelchair accessible.

Vaccination centres are operated by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and it is the NHS who will invite you to an appointment at a vaccination centre (not the council).

The Annual Report for Glasgow City Health Improvement is now available.  This report provides an insight into the progress made by Health Improvement to improve health and reduce health inequalities in 2019/20.

The Art in the Gart creative recovery programme at Gartnavel Royal Hospital has welcomed five times as many visitors as last year to the Growing Spaces sites in the hospital grounds during lockdown.

Glasgow has been shortlisted for an award in a top international competition.
