Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership’s Health Improvement Teams have recently released their 2018 / 19 Annual Report.

The Partnership’s Local Area Coordination Team has been promoting Chatter ‘n’ Natter as part of the wider campaign to end loneliness across Glasgow.

Partnership staff had their achievements recognised at the Glasgow City HSCP Staff Awards for Excellence 2019 on 19 September. The Awards celebrate individual staff, teams and projects who have ‘gone the extra mile’ in their work in a number of categories. 

Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership Staff in conjunction with Glasgow University, joined Councillor Susan Aitken, Leader of Glasgow City Council on World Suicide Prevention Day, Tuesday 10 September 2019, to highlight Suicide Prevention work in Glasgow.

Pollok Civic Realm have been awarded the bronze level LGBT Charter Mark from LGBT Youth Scotland.

Crail Medical Practice won the British Heart Foundation (BHF) Alliance Awards ‘Team of the Year’ Category for improving the health of heart patients.

April is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month. Bowel cancer is Scotland’s third most common cancer but it is treatable and curable especially if diagnosed early. Nearly everyone diagnosed at the earliest stage will survive bowel cancer but this drops significantly as the disease develops. 

North East Health Improvement Staff are making sure local children are ready for sunny spring weather by providing sun awareness training for nursery staff in the north east of Glasgow. 

Members of the Partnership's North East Locality Forum took part in a demonstration of the Your Support Your Way Glasgow Website on Thursday 15 February.
