Social Work Services

Social work offices will close at 4.45pm on Monday 24 December and re-open at 8.45am on Thursday 3 January 2019 with the following exceptions:

On Thursday 27 and Friday 28 December 2018 these offices open between 8.45am and 4.45pm on the Thursday, 8.45am and 3.55pm on the Friday.

On Monday 31 December 2018 these offices open between 8.45am and 12 noon.

In North East Area our Children and Families, Criminal Justice and Homelessness services will be delivered from the Easterhouse office between 27 and 31 December 2018. 

On Tuesday 25, Wednesday 26 December 2018 and Tuesday 1, Wednesday 2 January 2019, home care services are limited and therefore a reduced service will be provided across Glasgow. All affected service users will have received a letter in advance detailing the changes. Outwith this time a normal service will operate.

An out-of-hours homelessness service will be available during the festive period and can be contacted on 0800 838 502. 

If you need to contact social work outside office hours then an Emergency social work service is available from Glasgow and Partners Emergency Social Work Service. Phone 0300 343 1505.
