Launch of Socially Connected Glasgow Strategy

Published: | Health Improvement

On 23 June 2022 Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP)  launched The Socially Connected Glasgow Strategy, which was commissioned by the HSCP and co-produced by Impact Funding Partners (IFP) and the people of Glasgow.

The development of the strategy focuses on the importance of mental well-being in our recovery from the pandemic as a city and in the HSCP’s Maximising Independence programme.

Fiona Moss, our HSCP’s Head of Health Improvement and Equalities, said: “We’ve all experienced isolation and loneliness at some times in our lives and understand the impact this can have on us and just how destructive this can be if sustained. The strategy highlights what is working well within the city as well as what is holding us back and most importantly identifying the ways that we can work together to make thing better.”
