Social Work Services

Over the festive period all public Social Work offices will remain open between 08:45am to 4.45pm (Monday to Thursday) and 08.45am to 3.55pm (Friday) but will be closed on the following public holidays: 

• Monday 27 December 2021
• Tuesday 28 December 2021
• Friday 31 December 2021 closed from 12 noon onwards (Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services, will remain open until 5pm)
• Monday 3 January 2022
• Tuesday 4 January 2022

The following offices will all close at 3.55pm on Friday 24 December 2021 and re-open on Wednesday 5 January 2022

• Mercat 2, 35 Hecla Avenue G15 8NH

If you do not currently have a social worker and need support or information from Social Work Services then phone Social Care Direct on 0141 287 0555 during the office hours listed above. 

If you need to contact social work outside office hours then an emergency social work service is available from Glasgow and Partners Emergency Social Work Service on 0300 343 1505.

An out-of-hours homelessness service will be available during the festive period and can be contacted on 0800 838 502. 

Home Care Services

On Monday 27, Tuesday 28 December 2021 and Monday 3, Tuesday 4 January 2022, a limited level of service provision will be in operation across Glasgow. All affected service users will have received a letter detailing the changes.
