Social Work Services

Over the festive period all public social work offices will remain open between 08:45am to 4.45pm (Monday to Thursday) and 08.45am to 3.55pm (Friday) but will be closed on the following public holidays: 

• Monday 26 December 2022
• Tuesday 27 December 2022 
• Friday 30 December 2022 closed from 12 noon onwards (Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services, will remain open until 5pm)
• Monday 2 January 2023
• Tuesday 3 January 2023

The following offices will all close at 3.55pm on Friday 23 December 2022 and re-open on Wednesday 4 January 2023.

• Mercat2, 35 Hecla Avenue

If you do not currently have a social worker and need support or information from Social Work Services then phone Health and Social Care Connect on 0141 287 0555 during the office hours listed above. 

If you need to contact social work outside office hours then an emergency social work service is available from Glasgow and Partners Emergency Social Work Service on 0300 343 1505.

An out-of-hours homelessness service will be available during the festive period and can be contacted on 0800 838 502. 

Home Care Services

On Monday 26, Tuesday 27 December 2022 and Monday 2, Tuesday 3 January 2023, a limited level of service provision will be in operation across Glasgow. All affected service users will have received a letter detailing the changes.
