Kind hearted staff at the Community Centre for Health in Partick, had a cake sale in April, to raise funds for Guide Dogs’ 'Make Every Cuppa Count' fundraising campaign.

Guide Dog services enable thousands of people with sight loss to lead confident, independent and fulfilling lives. As the charity rely on donations to continue their life-changing work, by Making Every Cuppa Count, every penny raised makes a difference to people living with sight loss.

Nairn the guide dog was on site for everyone to meet him and it was a fantastic morning raising £232.75. All baking was homemade or donated.

Heather Miller, School Nurse based at the Community Centre for Health volunteers with Guide Dogs for the Blind Charity. She said:” Thanks to all staff for their support to help with the event which we will hopefully repeat next year in the foyer of the Centre.”

Jan Wardrop, Business Support Manager, North West Locality said: “Staff brought in home baking and really enjoyed taking part in the event. Guide dog Nairn was the star attraction. We were delighted to help to support this important charity.”
