Glasgow City HSCP Buildings / Services Open During the Holiday Period for 2025 to 2026
Social Work Services
Over the festive period all public social work offices will remain open during office hours between 8:45am to 4.45pm (Monday to Thursday) and 8.45am to 3.55pm (Friday) but will be closed on the following public holidays:
- Thursday, 25 December 2025
- Friday, 26 December 2025
- Wednesday, 31 December 2025 closed from 12 noon onwards with the exception of Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services who will remain open until 5pm
- Thursday, 1 January 2026
- Friday, 2 January 2026
The following offices will close at 4.45pm on Wednesday, 24 December 2025 and re-open on Monday, 3 January 2026
- Castlemilk Office, 10 Ardencraig Place
- Mercat2, 35 Hecla Avenue
If you do not currently have a social worker and need support or information from Social Work Services, visit Health and Social Care Connect during the office hours listed above. Outwith the above hours, an emergency Social Work Service is available from Glasgow and Partners Emergency Social Work Service, phone 0300 343 1505.

Home Care Services
On Thursday 25 ,Friday 26 December, and Wednesday 31 December (afternoon), Thursday 1, Friday 2 January 2026, a limited level of service provision will be in operation across Glasgow. All affected service users will have received a letter detailing the changes.
