Working with our providers of social care services

Over 100 people attended Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership’s (HSCP) Provider Event on 19 June at Glasgow City Chambers. The event was aimed at providers of social care services, registered managers, HSCP senior management and HSCP commissioning staff.

Jackie Kerr, Interim Chief Officer of our HSCP welcomed participants and gave an update on the interim senior management structure, pressures, challenges and opportunities and the National Care Service.

Listening to patients – What Matters to You Day

Staff at Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership’s (HSCP) Centre for Health and Care at Plean St, Scotstoun celebrated ‘What Matters to You’ day on 6 June with a stall outside to chat to patients.

What Matters to You is an initiative focused on understanding and prioritising the needs and preferences of our patients. The day encourages staff to engage in meaningful conversations with their patients to learn about their values, concerns and what truly matters to them in their care.

Item No 19 - Community Link Worker Programme 2024-25 - Additional SG Funding

The purpose of this report is to update the IJB on the offer of additional Scottish Government funding for the Community Links Worker Programme from 2024/25; and to note the approval by the Chief Officer and Chief Officer Finance and Resources, under delegated authority, on the ground of urgency.
