Item No 10 - Safer Drug Consumption Facility Engagement Strategy

The purpose of the report is to present for approval a draft Engagement Strategy in relation to implementation of the Safer Drug Consumption Facility in Glasgow City, as approved by the IJB at its meeting in September 2023.
The paper and attached draft Strategy outlines the approach to engagement proposed and provides an update on engagement activity undertaken since the IJB approved progressing implementation plans.

Item No 11 - Impact of Home Office Decisions via the Streamlined Asylum Process

To update the Integration Joint Board on (i) the impact on Glasgow City HSCP of Home Office decisions via the Streamlined Asylum Process which will result in circa 2,500 batched asylum decisions in Glasgow by the end of the calendar year; (ii) the associated impacts; and (iii) the preparations being made to respond.

Item No 16 - GCHSCP Workforce Plan 2022-2025 - Action Plan Update

The Glasgow City HSCP Workforce Plan (2022-2025) was approved in November 2022. To complement the plan a Workforce Plan Action Plan was developed with actions spanning the period of the plan. This report focuses upon the actions identified for year 1 (to December 2023) and provides an update on progress.

New HSCP Guide signposts Cost of Living Support

Our new Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) Cost of Living Guide was circulated this summer to a wide variety of HSCP services and third sector organisations. The guide was initiated by our HSCP’s Child Poverty Steering Group and created by our Health Improvement staff, to make it easier for people within communities impacted by the cost of living crisis to access sources of support.
