Enhanced Covid Testing to Tackle Glasgow's Southside Outbreak
Glasgow City Council and Glasgow City Health & Social Care Partnership are working together to increase the amount of COVID-19 testing capacity in the areas affected by the current outbreak.
This has already included increasing the number of Local Test Sites carrying out PCR testing, as well as making all test sites in the city available for asymptomatic testing, rather than just symptomatic testing. Lateral Flow Tests have also been made available through southside mosques with Imams urging worshipers to collect tests for their families.

Food for Good in Govan
Many people are struggling to access food through absolutely no fault of their own, and this has increased during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic.
Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) South Locality Health Improvement Team has been a key partner in supporting Govan as a ‘Thriving Place’, leading on the co-ordination of food work through the Food for Good group. This group brings many local organisations and community members together to work to achieve better access to food for people living in the Govan area.
