Glasgow National Care Leavers Week Open Day 2019
Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP) hosted their 8th Annual Care Leavers Open Day at the Barras Art and Design (BaAD) venue in the East End on Friday 25 October 2019.
The event coincided with National Care Leavers Week and was a celebration of the individual and collective achievements of the incredible talents of Glasgow’s Care Leavers. The Theme of this years’ event was MOTIVATION.

New App for Young Residents
The James McLean Project (JMP) provides accommodation and support to homeless young men and women aged 16 to 21. The team at the JMP in Barmulloch has launched an App, which will transform the way they communicate with their service users.
The App, which will improve the way the service delivers information to residents and how they feedback to the service, was officially launched in October.
Chatter 'n' Natter to End Loneliness
The Partnership’s Local Area Coordination Team has been promoting Chatter ‘n’ Natter as part of the wider campaign to end loneliness across Glasgow. This very simple concept encourages any person who is feeling lonely to sit at a designated table within a café setting that displays the Chatter ‘n’ Natter logo. To date the team has signed up 33 cafés to the scheme, which include various Aroma Cafés within hospital settings throughout Glasgow and a number of Encore Cafés within Glasgow Life premises, as well as independent cafés throughout Glasgow.

Item No.9 - Audit Scotland Report on Health and Social Care Integration
To summarise a report produced by Audit Scotland into Health and Social Care Integration in Scotland and present a draft action plan in response to the report’s recommendations for approval by the Integration Joint Board.
Item No.5 - Integration Scheme
Purpose of Report: To advise the Board that the Glasgow City Integration Scheme has been approved by the Cabinet Secretary and the Integration Scheme awaits Parliamentary approval.
