Item No 13 - Risk Management Quarterly Update

The purpose of this report is to provide an update to the IJB Finance, Audit and Scrutiny Committee on the status of the risk registers being maintained within the Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership.
This report covers the review carried out in April 2021 in respect of changes to risk in the quarter ending March 2021.

Item No 10 - Clinical and Professional Quarterly Assurance Statement

To provide the IJB Finance, Audit and Scrutiny Committee with a quarterly clinical and professional assurance statement.

Item No 11 - Adult Support and Protection – 2020 Annual Joint Self Evaluation

To update the IJB Finance, Audit and Scrutiny Committee on the activity in response to the Adult Support and Protection Joint Self-Evaluation in 2019 and the proposed Joint Self-Evaluation in 2021.

Helping Hands Initiative: Brief and Application Process 

Thank you for your interest. The application deadline of 31 August 2021 has now passed. We have received a number of high quality applications from local groups. All submissions will now be considered by the panel and you will receive a reply in due course.

As part of the North East Hub (Parkhead Hub) Health and Care Centre project and our commitment towards community investment, we are seeking to deliver the next hub West Scotland Helping Hands Initiative within the North East / Parkhead area of Glasgow.

Food for Good in Govan 

Many people are struggling to access food through absolutely no fault of their own, and this has increased during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic. 

Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) South Locality Health Improvement Team has been a key partner in supporting Govan as a ‘Thriving Place’, leading on the co-ordination of food work through the Food for Good group. This group brings many local organisations and community members together to work to achieve better access to food for people living in the Govan area.

Home Carers Give Betty a Birthday Surprise

Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) home carers gave service user Betty a birthday surprise by decorating her living room with balloons and banners to help celebrate her 90th birthday.

Home carer Gill Malley said: “We all enjoy caring for Betty. She is so outgoing and lively, you wouldn’t believe she was 90!
