Lockdown didn't stop one of Scotland's oldest women celebrating her 107th birthday at a Glasgow care home on 14 May.
Ellen Gardner has lived through two World Wars and the 1920s Spanish Flu outbreak, so she wasn't going to let the current Coronavirus pandemic spoil her celebrations.
Partnership Working is Helping to House the City’s Homeless
Teams across the council family have been working hard throughout lockdown to make sure that there are enough temporary furnished flats available for homeless households who need them. National Volunteers’ Week takes place from 1-7 June every year and is a celebration across the UK of all the contributions volunteers make to their community.

Help to stop smoking is still at the end of the phone
Local NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (NHSGG&C) Quit Your Way stop smoking services are still operating across Glasgow. Staff from the South Health Improvement Team of Glasgow City HSCP have been working with Sunny Govan Radio to promote the service and let local people know how they can access help to quit.
The radio station has interviewed smoking cessation advisor Laura Sinclair to find out about how we are running the Quit Your Way service during lockdown and about how people are coping during the pandemic.
