Celebrating Partnership Working - Police Scotland Award for HSCP Staff Member
Huge congratulations to Nicola Milligan, Accommodation Manager within Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership’s (HSCP) Homelessness Services on her award from Police Scotland.
Nicola was presented with a Greater Glasgow Division’s Certificate of Recognition, from Chief Superintendent Lynn Ratcliff, at the Commander’s Awards Ceremony on Thursday, 5 September in Glasgow City Chambers.
The award was in recognition for Nicola’s sustained commitment and enthusiasm in making a significant contribution to tackling homelessness in Glasgow.

NHSGGC launches community food project at Glasgow hospital
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) has begun planting crops for a new community food project, and they hope to have the first harvest before winter sets in.
The project has been a number of months in the making, and earlier this week a group of staff, volunteers and external contractors came together at Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership's Stobhill Hospital Mental Health Campus to work on a resource that will benefit patients but will also help people living in surrounding communities.

Helping with concerns about vaping and young people
In recent years there has been a steep increase in the prevalence of young people taking up vaping.
In Scotland children as young as 11 years old have said they have used vapes. By the time they are 15 years old, around a third of young people report having tried it. (1)
In response to this concern, Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership’s (HSCP) Health Improvement team has developed several resources relating to vaping and young people.
