Item No 16 - Glasgow Alliance to end Homelessness
To update the Integration Joint Board on progress to date in developing an Alliance to End Homelessness in the city and the outcome of the Tender completed by the Council under direction from the IJB to identify Alliance partners to work collaboratively with GCHSCP to deliver a significant change agenda to improve homelessness services in Glasgow.
Item No 17 - Resource Allocation Policy for Adults eligible for Social Care Supports
To update IJB members on the work being undertaken to implement and embed the policy framework on resource allocation for adults eligible for social care support, as approved by IJB members in December 2018. In doing so, to appraise IJB members of the work being undertaken to review and refresh self-directed support (SDS) procedures and guidance and the need to ensure the work to embed the resource allocation policy is harmonized with that work.

Residents Settle into Stunning New Care Home
Residents of two former Glasgow care homes are settling into a stunning new facility built as part of an £112.5million investment programme. Victoria Gardens is a new 70 bed care home built on the site of the former Blawarthill Hospital in Knightswood.
Provided by Glasgow City Health & Social Care Partnership, it is one of five new care homes built across the city to replace old, outdated facilities.
Supporting New Parents – Perinatal Mental Health Guide
Becoming a parent is often portrayed as a joyous time; however, for many the reality is very different with reports showing that one in five women and one in 10 men are affected by mental health problems during pregnancy and the first year after birth. The stigma and fear associated with perinatal mental health can leave those affected feeling inadequate as a parent, isolated and vulnerable and can impede or delay getting help, treatment and recovery.

Youth Health Service Expands Across Glasgow
Glasgow City HSCP’s Youth Health Service (YHS) aimed at young people aged 12 – 19 years is expanding across the city from February 2020.
The Youth Health Service will open the new services at Shettleston Health Centre in North East Glasgow on Wednesday 5 February and in the New Gorbals Health & Care Centre in South Glasgow on Thursday 6 February. Both services operate in the evening from 6.30pm - 9.00pm. Referrals were accepted in preparation for the openings.
