Item No 7 - Improving Access to Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) for Vulnerable Children and Young People
To demonstrate the improved access to CAMHS for those children across Greater Glasgow & Clyde and in particular, to demonstrate work identifying local need with a focus on areas of high deprivation to eradicate health inequalities at a community level.

Helping Carers know their Rights - Carer's Act Launch Event
Around eighty carers from across Glasgow came to the City Chambers on 3 April for the Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership's event to launch the Carers (Scotland) Act 2016 which takes effect from 1 April 2018.
The Act extends and enhances the rights of carers in Scotland to help improve their health and wellbeing, so that they can continue to care, if they so wish, and have a life alongside caring.
QNIS Long Service Awards for Partnership Nursing Staff
Three staff nurses from the North West Locality of the Partnership were recently presented with Long Service Awards from the Queen's Institute for Community Nursing Scotland (QNIS).
The staff were Susan McNee and Margaret Jamieson based at Maryhill health and Care Centre and and Angela Toland, based at Possilpark Health and Care Centre. They have all worked over 30 years with the Health Visiting team.
