An innovative email service for health staff is helping women get treatment more quickly for menopausal symptoms.

The consultant Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) staff working at Sandyford set up a Menopause email advice service for GPs, pharmacists and practice nurses (Primary Care Services) in 2019.

Sandyford is the specialist sexual health service for the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) area, which is hosted by Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP).

If you’re keen to support a vulnerable child but not able to make a full-time commitment, then you could be a short breaks carer with Families for Children – the fostering and adoption service for Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP).

Susan is a short breaks carer with Families for Children, and she’s been looking after a family of three brothers for the past six years. They stay at Susan’s every Tuesday night and then one weekend a month.
