Item No 12 - Older Peoples Residential Services - Care Inspectorate Activity

To advise of the outcome of the inspections of Riverside Care Home, Victoria Gardens Care Home, and Orchard Grove Care Home, provided by Glasgow City HSCP, which were undertaken by the Care Inspectorate in June, July, and October 2025 respectively.

First Minister visits Glasgow GP taking part in family wellbeing project

First Minister John Swinney visited a GP practice in Easterhouse to hear about Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP)’s project to improve family wellbeing, by making it easier to access support services.

Mr Swinney joined Dr Lesley Thomson KC, Chair NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Board and Suzanne Niven, our HSCP’s Health Improvement Manager to meet GP Practice staff at Oakwood Medical Practice on 9 June.

Item No 09 - Glasgow City IJB Budget Monitoring for Month 8 and Period 9 2025-26

This report outlines the financial position of the Glasgow City Integration Joint Board (IJB) as at 14th November for Council and 30th November 2025 for Health and highlights any areas of budget pressures and actions to mitigate these pressures.

Item No 09 - HSCP Performance Report Q3 2025-26

To present the Joint Performance Report for the Health and Social Care Partnership for Quarter 3 of 2025/26 for noting. The IJB Finance, Audit and Scrutiny Committee is also being asked to consider the exceptions highlighted in the report and review and discuss performance with the Strategic Leads for Older People, Carers and Unscheduled Care.

To provide an update on changes to the membership of Glasgow City Integration Joint Board (GCIJB) and seek approval of an appointment to the IJB Finance, Audit and Scrutiny Committee and the role of Vice Chair. To update on a Scottish Statutory Instrument to extend IJB voting rights to service user, unpaid carer and third sector representatives.
