Item No 13 - Mental Welfare Commission Local Visits 2024
The purpose of this report is to present to the IJB Finance, Audit and Scrutiny Committee the findings from the Mental Welfare Commission local visit reports to mental health inpatient wards and Community Mental Health Teams in Glasgow City, published during the period 1st January 2024 to 31st December 2024.
Item No 14 - Social Care Purchased Service Review Activity 2024
To advise the IJB Finance, Audit and Scrutiny Committee of the activity of the HSCP Commissioning Team in respect of Service Reviews of social care purchased services in 2024 and planned activity for 2025.
Item No 12 - Older Peoples Residential Services - Care Inspectorate Activity
To advise Committee of the outcome of the inspections of Victoria Gardens Care Home, Meadowburn Care Home, Orchard Grove Care Home, and Hawthorn House Care Home, provided by Glasgow City HSCP, which were undertaken by the Care Inspectorate in May, June, September and October 2024 respectively.
Quarterly Performance Reports
In line with the Partnership’s performance management arrangements, performance reports are produced on a quarterly basis. These reports are then scrutinised by citywide and locality management teams. The Integration Joint Board’s Finance, Audit and Scrutiny Committee also receives a quarterly performance report and, at each meeting, they focus on specific service areas with service leads. Helping education staff to support students who self-harm
During 2024, the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) Mental Health Improvement Team, hosted by Glasgow City HSCP, has been working with three further and higher education institutions in Glasgow. In line with Scotland's Self-harm Strategy and Action Plan 2023, the team has worked with education staff to increase awareness and understanding of self-harm.

Within Glasgow City, Glasgow City Council and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde have integrated the planning and delivery of all community health and social care services for children, adults and older people, along with homelessness and criminal justice services.
Appointment of Interim Chief Officer, Finance and Resources / Section 95 Officer
The purpose of the report is to update the Integration Joint Board on the appointment of Margaret Hogg as Interim Chief Officer, Finance and Resources and Interim Section 95 Officer to the Integration Joint Board under the Local Government Act 1973.
