City residents are invited to voice their opinions on the plan drafted by the city's Community Planning Partnership.

It outlines key priorities for the city which include tackling skills shortages and poverty, promoting inclusive economic growth - ensuring everyone in Glasgow benefits from the city's success and is supported to achieve their own potential.

Bailie Russell Robertson, Chair of Glasgow's Community Planning Partnership, launched the public consultation at an event in the Pearce Institute, Govan.

Bailie Robertson said: "Our vision is for Glasgow to be a world-class city with thriving and resilient communities where everyone can flourish and benefit from the city's success. We are committed as partners to achieve inclusive growth in Glasgow. We will make sure we take action together and in our individual organisations to deliver the change and improvement needed.

"This is the public's chance to have their say on the proposed plan which is bound to contain information which affects their daily lives. We want to hear people's ideas and views on the draft plan. I'd urge people to get involved, complete the survey and have their say. Their views can help shape services."

The final version of the Community Plan will be published in October. Public feedback to the draft will help shape the final document.
