Our November newsletter continues to focus on sharing with you some of the important work that is going on across the Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership. It also answers the most frequently asked questions staff have about integration, along with providing details of the Integrated Care Fund and some of the important and innovative work that it is supporting.

We hope we’ve covered some of the main topics you told us you’d like to hear about in this issue including details on how you can give your views on our draft strategic plan.

Item No 11 - Funding for the Primary Care Improvement Plan 2022-23

The purpose of this report is to:
- Advise the IJB on the content of the Scottish Government’s funding allocation letter for PCIP for 2022/23 and the subsequent arrangements that we have agreed with the Scottish Government, to ensure that we have sufficient funding to deliver our programme this financial year.
- Seek IJB approval for the PCIP programme for 2022/23 based on projected funding of £25.536m.

Item No 10 - Progress towards Implementation of the MAT Standards and ADRS Review

The purpose of this paper is to update the IJB on progress of implementation of the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Standards and recommendations from the commissioned independent Review of Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Recovery (ADRS) community services and seek approval to progress recruitment for the Test of Change STARS model.

Item No 12 - Glasgow City IJB Budget Monitoring Report for Month 4 and Period 5 2022-23

This report outlines the financial position of the Glasgow City Integration Joint Board as at 31st July (Health) and 29th July (Council) and highlights any areas of budget pressure and actions to mitigate these pressures.

Item No 09 - Justice Social Work Recovery Planning Proposals

To update the Integration Joint Board on the additional Scottish Government grant award received by justice social work to support COVID-19 recovery work. 
To seek approval for the proposed spend as detailed in the report.

Item No 07 - Medium Term Financial Framework 2021-2024

This report outlines the Medium Term Financial Outlook for the Integration Joint Board (IJB) and has been prepared to support financial planning and delivery of the IJB’s Strategic Plan.
