North West staff participate in Red Nose Day

Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership staff based in the Partick office in the North West recently joined in on the Red Nose Day fun on 15 March 24.

Dawn Campbell, Team Leader was the force behind organising the event and colleagues were happy to be involved in raising money for a worthwhile cause. Some of the activities organised in the office included:

The staff at these care homes recognise the profound importance of meaningful connections in the lives of the residents – connections that span family, friends, staff and the broader community.

The COVID-19 pandemic brought with it a host of restrictions, profoundly impacting the ability of individuals in residential care to engage with their communities and receive visits from loved ones.

Gartnavel’s Growing Spaces help grow recovery

Taking time to step outside in the fresh air and enjoy the beauty of nature has proven beneficial effects on mental health. Art in the Gart’s Growing Spaces Project exists to support the recovery and wellbeing of patients, staff and visitors to Gartnavel Royal Hospital and all the other NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) services based on the Gartnavel Campus.
