A Socially Distanced Meander Through COVID-19
Local community, patients and staff came together in September 2019 for the first Meander for Mental Health Event, held at Glasgow’s Leverdale Hospital. Walks in the local area were used in a day packed with fun and activity to promote exercise for our mental health and break down the barriers and stigma surrounding mental illness. The 2020 Meander event was set to take place on 19 September but had to be cancelled due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions.
