To mark Stress Awareness Month this April, a new resource has been added to the NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (NHGGGC) Mental Health Improvement Team Healthy Minds Collection: Online Harms and Mental Health.

Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP)’s Health Improvement Team staff has recently been working with the Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector (GCVS) to increase awareness around the impact childhood trauma can have on individuals and society. 
 

The latest annual report highlighting the work of Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership’s (HSCP) Health Improvement Team is now available.

Statistics show that one in five women are affected by mental health problems during pregnancy and the first year after birth. This includes mental illness existing before pregnancy, as well as illnesses that develop for the first time, or are greatly exacerbated in the perinatal period.

Staff from 17 organisations across Greater Glasgow and Clyde came together in November 2022 at an engagement event held by Sandyford Sexual Health Services. Sandyford is hosted by Glasgow City HSCP for NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.

Five short films promoting conversations about sex and consent in young people have been viewed over 36,000 times on social media.

A short animation encouraging women to think about postnatal contraception was launched recently by Women's Health Minister, Maree Todd MSP. 

Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership’s (HSCP) Health Improvement team has won the award for ‘Digital Initiative’ as part of this year’s UK Public Health Register (UKPHR) Awards.  

The Mental Health Network (Greater Glasgow) is a network of people and carers with a lived experience of mental health issues.
