Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership’s (HSCP) Health Improvement team has won the award for ‘Digital Initiative’ as part of this year’s UK Public Health Register (UKPHR) Awards.  

Huge congratulations to our Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP)’s Housing First Service, which was one of three finalists in the Excellence in Adult Services Category, at the Scottish Social Services Awards, held on 9 November in Glasgow.

Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership’s (HSCP) Home Care service hosted its second annual ‘virtual afternoon tea party’ for service users in October. Service users aged 100 or over were invited to participate along with their friends or family members.

Free daytime discos for Glaswegians over 50 years of age have been running across the city.

All staff working in hospitals and care / residential homes are being urged to ‘Think Red Bag’ when preparing for a care / residential home resident to attend and return from hospital. 

The new Breastfeeding Friendly Scotland Scheme (BFS) has been recently launched across Scotland to help provide mothers with positive experiences of breastfeeding when out and about. This will help mothers to feel confident and supported when breastfeeding in public areas.
