Our Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership’s (HSCP) Domestic Abuse Strategy 2023 – 2028 was recently approved at the Integration Joint Board’s (IJB) meeting on 22 March 2023. 

A pharmacist-led pain clinic in Govanhill Health Centre has won a national award for the ‘Addressing Overprescribing’ category and an overall Silver Award, as voted by the audience, at the PrescQIPP Annual Awards 2021. The winners were announced at an online award ceremony on 13 October.

Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership’s (HSCP) Community Support Service for older people with dementia has operated in the North East of Glasgow for 25 years.

Generous Glasgow City HSCP staff working in Balmore Ward at Leverndale Hospital decided this year to forego the usual staff tradition of giving presents to each other by Secret Santa and instead donated their presents to the women and children being supported by Renfrewshire Women’s Aid.

Glasgow's Dementia Strategy has been hailed as world leading in a prestigious global study.

A range of activities have been taking place to support Glasgow City HSCP’s Dementia Strategy Group and increase awareness of dementia and how people and their carers can be supported.

Families are being encouraged to plan for the future by obtaining Power of Attorneys (POA) to protect the wishes of relatives and friends in the event of illness or accidents.

The Prescribing Support Team in Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (South Locality) won the Working in Partnership Award at the Scottish Pharmacist Awards 2019.
