Project Search - Applications open!

DFN Project Search is an innovative and exciting work experience programme for young people aged between 18 – 29 years with learning disabilities and / or autistic spectrum conditions. It is designed to increase the numbers of young people getting and keeping full time paid employment and is delivered in over 500 sites across the world. This includes our two sites based here in Glasgow. Project Search is delivered within large employers who are called host businesses. In Glasgow these are NHS Glasgow Royal Infirmary and the University of Strathclyde. It is a full time programme and participants, called interns, are onsite Monday – Friday, 9am – 4pm. During this time interns will undertake up to three different rotations each lasting ten weeks in different parts of the business. They will learn new skills and improve their confidence and ability to compete for a job.

At the moment recruitment for Project Search starting in August 2024 is ongoing.

To apply to Project Search visit the website of Glasgow Clyde College or City of Glasgow College and complete the application forms.
