The purpose of this report is to present to the IJB Finance, Audit and Scrutiny Committee the findings from the Mental Welfare Commission local visit reports to mental health inpatient wards in Glasgow City, published during the period 1st January 2025 to 31st December 2025.

To advise of the outcome of the inspections of Riverside Care Home, Victoria Gardens Care Home, and Orchard Grove Care Home, provided by Glasgow City HSCP, which were undertaken by the Care Inspectorate in June, July, and October 2025 respectively.

To inform the IJB Finance, Audit and Scrutiny Committee of the outcome of the inspection of Glasgow City HSCP’s Fostering, Adult Fostering, and Adoption Services and the action plan created as a result of the inspection.

This report aims to update the IJB Public Engagement Committee on the communication and engagement approach underpinning the three year Service Prioritisation Programme, and the engagement carried out so far.

To update the IJB Public Engagement Committee (PEC) on the development of the 2026-28 Locality Plans, including priority actions and associated engagement.

To update the IJB Public Engagement Committee on the development of the Glasgow City HSCP 10-Year Temporary Accommodation Strategy and ongoing consultation and engagement activities relating to this.

To provide an update on changes to the membership of Glasgow City Integration Joint Board (GCIJB) and seek approval of an appointment to the IJB Finance, Audit and Scrutiny Committee and the role of Vice Chair.
