The purpose of this report is to provide an update on the completion of the audit of the Annual Accounts.

This report outlines the financial position of the Glasgow City Integration Joint Board as at 28th July 2023 for Council and 31st July 2023 for Health and highlights any areas of budget pressures and actions to mitigate these pressures.

To seek approval for the publication of the Children’s Services Plan (2023 – 2026), which has been developed in conjunction with representatives of key agencies across the Community Planning Partnership and informed by feedback from children and young people.

To present to the Glasgow City Integration Joint Board details of the main elements of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) Guidance in relation to Audit Committees.

To provide an update on appointments to Glasgow City IJB; and to seek approval of appointments to the IJB Finance, Audit and Scrutiny Committee and the IJB Public Engagement Committee.

To brief the IJB on the Health and Social Care Partnership’s ongoing performance related to delayed discharge, to note the improvement work plan, and the Health and Social Care Partnership’s planning for winter.
