The purpose of this paper is to outline the requirements the Public Bodies (Joint Working)(Scotland) Act 2014 places on the Glasgow City Integration Joint Board to make directions to the Council and Health Board, and to propose a standard format for the Glasgow City Integration Joint Board’s directions to both delivery bodies.

Care Home Staff Throw Birthday Party for 107 Year Old Ellen
Lockdown didn't stop one of Scotland's oldest women celebrating her 107th birthday at a Glasgow care home on 14 May.
Ellen Gardner has lived through two World Wars and the 1920s Spanish Flu outbreak, so she wasn't going to let the current Coronavirus pandemic spoil her celebrations.

Partnership Working is Helping to House the City’s Homeless
Teams across the council family have been working hard throughout lockdown to make sure that there are enough temporary furnished flats available for homeless households who need them. This is a key priority for the Homeless Services team at the Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP).
Thanking our Volunteers during Volunteers Week 1 - 7 June 2020
National Volunteers’ Week takes place from 1-7 June every year and is a celebration across the UK of all the contributions volunteers make to their community.
Glasgow City HSCP has a range of volunteers working across its services from Youth Heath, Health Improvement, Alcohol and Drugs, Residential Care and Mental Health. We would like to thank them for all their invaluable and diverse dedicated efforts in supporting the services we provide.
Item 6 - Proof of Concept
The purpose of this report is to update the Integration Joint Board on initial work carried out by Social Work Services for the review and reform of social care contracts in the context of the implementation of the new National Minimum Wage 2020.
New Health and Care Hub in North East Glasgow moves Closer
The prospect of a new £64.3 million state-of-the-art Health and Care Centre for the North East of Glasgow moved one step closer on Tuesday, 2 June.
An interim Board meeting of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde agreed the outline business cases which will now be submitted to the Scottish Government’s Capital Investment Group for funding.
The centre, which is proposed for the Parkhead Hospital site, will bring together the key supports from a range of health and care professionals to tackle health inequalities, improve health and contribute to social regeneration.
