Parkhead Hub officially opens as Scotland’s largest integrated health and social care facility
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC), in partnership with Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP), Glasgow City Council, and Glasgow Life, is proud to announce the official opening of the Parkhead Hub, a landmark £67 million health, social care, and community facility in the heart of Glasgow’s East End.

Glasgow Child Interview Team
The Glasgow Child Interview Team is made up of specially trained social workers and police officers. They work together to interview children and young people who have been victims of abuse or crime or have seen a crime happen.
The team uses a trauma-informed approach called the Scottish Child Interview Model (SCIM). This approach helps make the experience less stressful for children, reduces the risk of further trauma, and improves the quality of information gathered during interviews.
Glasgow City HSCP Staff champion British Sign Language awareness
Staff across our Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) are helping make our services more inclusive by learning British Sign Language (BSL) and raising awareness of its importance in our city.
Recently, a group of colleagues successfully achieved their Signature Level 1 in BSL, and another cohort has recently completed a six-week taster course where they learnt basic BSL communication skills useful for work and gained cultural awareness of the Deaf community.

Quarterly Performance Reports
In line with the Partnership’s performance management arrangements, performance reports are produced on a quarterly basis. These reports are then scrutinised by citywide and locality management teams. The Integration Joint Board’s Finance, Audit and Scrutiny Committee also receives a quarterly performance report and, at each meeting, they focus on specific service areas with service leads.
