PPE Distribution Hub

The Scottish Government, with the support of NHS National Service Scotland (NSS) has established Social Care Hubs within each Health & Social Care Partnership (HSCP) across Scotland, for the allocation of PPE stock to Social Care Providers.  This covers care homes; care at home providers; unpaid carers; personal assistants; sheltered housing services; supported housing; housing support; children’s homes and hospices, and all HSCP Social Work Services.

We have now set up a distribution hub from which the following can access stock of PPE:

A Feedback Log has been developed that captures the key suggestions and proposals made by participants during the consultation and engagement element of the HSCP’s review of participation and engagement. It includes feedback received via a web-based survey and at engagement events arranged in collaboration with Locality Engagement Forums (LEFs).

New North East Hub at Parkhead

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is working with Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership to develop a new health and social care Hub at Parkhead in North East Glasgow, on the site of the former Parkhead Hospital, and current Sandyford, Anvil and Health Centres at Salamanca Street.

The Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 came into force on 23 September 2018. The Regulations require that public sector websites and mobile apps be made more accessible to all users, particularly for users who have accessibility needs. This includes all their design, coding and content.
