Glasgow City Integration Joint Board (IJB) is recruiting new stakeholder members
Glasgow City Integration Joint Board (IJB) is currently seeking representatives from the public to sit on the IJB.
If you have an interest in health and social care services and are keen to get involved with the IJB then one of these roles may be ideal for you.
There are six positions available:
- Four Service User Representatives: Open to users of health services and/or social work and social care services
- Two Carer Representatives: Open to people who have (or had) a caring role for a family member or loved one

About the role
Time commitment (approximate)
- 1 morning every 6-8 weeks for IJB meetings (Wednesdays, 9.30am to 12.30pm)
- 1 morning every 3 months for Public Engagement Committee meetings (Wednesdays, 10am to 12.30pm)
- 6 Development Sessions per year (Wednesdays, 9.30am to 12.30pm)
- Time to read papers ahead of meetings
- Attendance at other events as a member of the IJB (optional)
Expectations of Members
- Attend consistently
- Participate in meetings – ask questions, make comments
- Articulate the views and interests of the stakeholder group you represent
- Uphold good standards of behaviour in line with IJB Code of Conduct
Support available to Members
- Induction with Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) officers
- Dedicated time with HSCP officers ahead of IJB meetings to discuss papers and an opportunity to ask questions
- Support to attend meetings (for example, accessibility or transport needs)
- Reimbursement of expenses incurred as a direct result of IJB membership (for example, cost of replacement carer cover)

Closing date for applications is Friday, 18 July 2025.
After the closing date applicants will be short-listed, and short-listed candidates will be invited to a discussion about the role and the successful candidates will be subject to IJB approval.
Successful candidates will serve a three-year term, as a non-voting member.
