We are celebrating Carers Week from the 8 to 14 June 2020.  This week is dedicated to people across the country who provide support to friends, family and neighbours who couldn’t manage otherwise.

We all need an advocate at some times in our lives. It helps to have someone around to make a difficult phone call, someone who can help write a letter or someone to go with you to a difficult meeting.

The Prescribing Support Team in Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (South Locality) won the Working in Partnership Award at the Scottish Pharmacist Awards 2019.

Around eighty carers from across Glasgow came to the City Chambers on 3 April for the Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership's event to launch the Carers (Scotland) Act 2016 which takes effect from 1 April 2018.
